A reason for Raw

I thought I was allergic to chocolate! Can that be? No woman really wants to be unable to eat chocolate when we want it.

Then I learned more about the process and found it really isn't the cacao bean's fault, but years of being treated with no respect that had turn the bean against me.

Listening to David Wolfe and learning that with moderation I can have my cacao when I want it, need it and when the GOT TO HAVE IT urge comes over me.

But really this blog won't be only about cacao, but about my journey, the whole slip-sliding-away reality of going raw at the ripe age of 56 now 58 and what I've learned about this great lifestyle, and about me. My addiction to food and my teeter totter relationship with food.

Because for some of us Baby Boomers who have been brought up with great wholesome foods and then saw it deteriorate into what they call food today. We all need to be more mindful of what's going into our mouth, on our hair and into our pores. No longer can we believe that what we smear on our bodies won't hurt us.
